On New Years Eve, you can enjoy fireworks from the windows or walk down to Cremorne Point.
You can go down to Balmoral Beach in 10 minutes by car for a swim and stroll. Nice coffee, restaurants (esp Japanese) and shopping are only 10 minutes walk in Neutral Bay where you can also decide to jump on a bus and be in the city in 10 minutes.
There is a communal garden for a quiet read or picking some herbs. The apartment is in surprisingly quiet surroundings and parking is never a prolblem. There is a TV, DVD player and HiFi and the kitchen has a dishwasher and all other standard kitchen equipment.
