I am offering short term rentals so please state the date of arrival and departure you require so I can advise you of availability. Please note the room is currently booked out until 21st March.

I am a tidy, friendly, non-smoking female (30s) and I have a spare room available for rent in my 2 bedroom unit at Parkview Towers on Wattle Crescent, Pyrmont. The room has a built-in wardrobe and balcony access, and is furnished with a queen size bed and bedside tables. Bed linen and towels are provided. The rest of the unit is fully furnished. It is light and spacious, and has polished floorboards, a sunroom and balcony with views of Blackwattle Bay and the Anzac Bridge, and internal laundry with washing machine and dryer. You will not need to share the bathroom with me, as my room has an ensuite (master) bathroom.

The unit is approximately 2 kilometres to the city centre and is located opposite the Sydney Fish Markets and Wentworth Park with light rail station behind the building. It is a 20 minute walk to the city centre, Broadway and Glebe; 10 minute walk to Darling Harbour and Star City Casino; and 5 minute walk to Harris Street,the main street of Pyrmont, with shops, pubs, cafes and bus stop for buses to the city (routes 443, 501) or West Ryde via Victoria Rd (route 501). There is a barbeque area, gym, pool, spa and sauna in the building.

Will suit people who are in Sydney for work or holiday and want a cheaper option than a hotel, but more private and comfortable than a hostel. Will also suit people who need somewhere to stay whilst looking for a longer term solution. The room can be rented for up to a maximum of 4 weeks, but longer terms will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The rental rates are as follows and includes all bills (gas, electricity and water):

Please note there is no broadband or wifi internet available in the unit as I use a mobile broadband USB key to access the internet, however there are late-night internet cafes nearby and a 24-hour pub, and daytime cafes that have free wifi.

Anyone who wishes to rent the room will need to provide photo identification, and I can provide my own identification on request. A 25% deposit must be paid in order to secure the room, and the balance of the rent must be paid in advance upon arrival. A 25% security deposit/bond and $50 key deposit will need to be paid upon arrival, and will be refunded upon departure provided there is no rent owing, no damages, and the key is returned. Receipts will be issued for all monies paid.

About me: I am from Sydney but spent almost 10 years living overseas (London and New York). I am an IT project manager, change manager and business analyst but have not found work since relocating back to Sydney last year. I am renting out my spare room to help me with living expenses whilst I am not working. I am friendly and sociable but respect the personal space of others. Even though I am home a lot, I am in my room most of the time watching TV or job searching. I come out for meals, or to get a change of scenery, but you'll have the living room to yourself most of the time.

We are a professional couple (Nadine 25 years old and Pablo 29 years old) working in the city in normal hours. We are very social and outgoing and we have been renting our room before to several colleagues from Nadine�s work coming from Melbourne.
