I live in Sydneys East (Hillsdale). Its 2km from Maroubra Beach which is one of the best in Sydney. Golden sands, cafes and clean water. If you are a surfer or wanna be surfer then Maroubra is a good place to surf. The beach weather in Sydney continues thru May but even in Winter the sunny days are really pleasant. Parks and swimming pools are nearby and the cafe/restaurant district of Randwick isnt far away. Its about 30mins by bus to the City. If you like running then the eastern suburbs is a wonderful place to train.

The house is located in Astoria, right in front of mid-town, 1 minute to the closest subway station and 10 subway minutes away from east mid-town Manhattan and is one block away from the Museum of the Moving Images, and a walk away from the Nagucci Museum and Socrates park, which are right at the waterfront. You choose: in ten minutes you can be at PS1, MoMA, in Central Park or anywhere in the heart of Manhattan. It will take you 20 minutes to be at Union Square or Times Square. The Metropolitan Museum of Art (statistically the most visited location in New York City) is 20 subway minutes away.
You are surrounded by good (and inexpensive) ethnic restaurants, pubs, bars and are one block away from the Kaufman movie complex, which is one of the largest movie theaters in New York. Needles to say…your favorite Starbucks is right in front of it. You can comfortably to your grocery shopping without walking more than one block and can pick and choose where to go buy your groceries. The post office is a 5 minute walk from the house. The public library is a 2 minute walk. For all your tax-exempt international purchases of electronics and the likes, you have PC Richard near you: one of the largest and the most competitive retail reseller of electronics in the USA. The neighborhood is extremely quiet, has little traffic and is well served by public transportation (both subway and buses) and is very, very safe both at day and night. If needed there is a car service right at the corner that will bring you anywhere. In 30 minutes you are at JFK (airport), and can comfortably get from JFK to my house via public transportation for a grand total of $7.00.

The weather is beautiful year round in Boulder - mild temperatures and no humidity make all 4 seasons pleasant. And there's plenty to do outdoors - biking, hiking, camping, kayaking, skiing/snowboarding (the list goes on - just do some research!!)

We are an outgoing, fun, energetic couple in our early 30's with a passion for traveling, new cultures and exciting experiences. We met over 6 years ago, became best friends immediately and ended up in a relationship a couple years later. We have worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years a piece and always have dreamed of opening our own restaurant and/or bed and breakfast. We have extensive bartending, serving, cooking and management experience, as well as have been both working in the marketing world for the past couple years. We are familiar with web design, online marketing and print / design work and writing - and can help your business grow and succeed! We are extremely handy around the house, having done lots of work sprucing up both of our homes - from painting, to installing floors, to fixing minor electric/plumbing issues, to gardening/landscaping (our favorite) - we certainly know how to stretch a budget to make a place look like new!

We would love to swap our 3 bed apartment in Hong Kong for a 2+ bed in Sydney.
Our place: in luxury building called Leighton Hill, at the heart of Hong Kong island, facings race track in Happy Valley, 5 minutes walk from Causeway Bay MTR and Times Square mall.
Facilities include tennis court, indoor heated pool, full gym, club house, spa, restaurant... all in the building.
The apartment itself has 3 bedrooms (1 master bedroom with queen bed, 1 guest bedroom with queen bed, 1 children's room with 2 small single beds), 3 bathrooms, a playroom (full of toys), a large dining / living room, high speed wireless, great sound system (just plug your iPod), modern art on the walls, and a huge wrap around terrace with BBQ, loungers, teak table and chairs, etc.
We are a couple in our 40s. I am Australian, but have lived in Berkeley for the last 2 years with my partner. We are looking to be in Sydney for December and Jan and require out own accommodation while there. We are non-smokers and have no pets.
