Looking to swap our lovely holiday home in Opua, Bay of Islands for a comparable house or apartment (two bedroom is fine) in Sydney -- either close to central Sydney or beautifully located (or both).

About a week would be nice -- either the first or second week of July. Could be longer than a week if within this time-frame.

Our home has a wood-burning fire and is extremely cozy in the winter and has a spectacular view. It's secluded and quiet but only five minutes away from the yachting marina of Opua or ten minutes away from all the activities of holiday-town Paihia. Thirty minutes from the Kerikeri airport.

Beautiful Cottage Studio with Yard (lilyfield)

I would like to Swap with someone in a New York, please. (no specific dates in mind). If it suites it doesn't have to be a swap at the same time.

"The Lilypad", recently built self contained cottage, plus Garage/Yard and own street entrance.

Lilyfield is a Beautiful area, close to Balmain for shopping and Restaurants as well as Leichhardt and Sydney CBD.

The light rail service goes from Lilyfield to The Fish markets, Casino, Darling Harbour, China town and Central train station.

There are buses very close by as well as what is know as the "Bay Run" for those that would like a decent run/walk or stroll.

The doggy cafe is also within reach and every Saturday there is a farmers market almost across the road, They are famous for Bacon and egg rolls, fresh flowers and very tasty organic produce.

Speaking of tasty organic produce ....... you can cook up a storm in the new kitchen with SMEG appliances, saucepans, fridge/freezer and microwave.

The cottage is a studio layout with a large open area with the bedroom, Television and lounge with a wall of glass doors that open onto the sandstone verandah and grassed yard.

The floors are polished spotted gum and the windows have plantation timber shutters to allow for privacy and the streaming natural light.

Both kitchen and bathroom can be closed of from the main area.

Even though it is newly built there is a healthy respect for the old, with Art deco features here and there and a beautiful French Antique bed, that's so comfy, you won't want to leave.

All the linen is Hospitality sourced and top quality, as well.

Hi,

I have a fully furnished, elegant apartment in Bombay, India that I'd like to swap for two months (April 2nd week to June 2nd week - slightly negotiable) for any nice apartment/house in Sydney. My Bombay home is centrally located, very clean, well maintained, has all the modern conveniences, wireless Internet, cable TV etc and has also has a fulltime service manager who can prepare meals if you'd like and guide you around the city. The apartment is on the third floor of a building with elevator access and trains, buses and taxis are all accessible right outside the apartment block. Mumbai is one of the largest, most diverse cities of the world and has much to be explored. It is also a convenient hub from where you can branch off and see other parts of South and West India. The airport is a 45 minute ride away and the highways out of the city are 15 minutes away. There is a wide range of high quality local cuisines all around this suburb and spas/ayurvedic massage centers are a five minute walk away. Hotel costs in the city are exorbitant so this is a good chance to have a place of your own while you explore "Maximum city" and one of the world's oldest civilizations!!!

In exchange I'm looking for a centrally located two bedroom apartment/house for myself and my two teenage kids who will be visiting Sydney at the time. We don't mind staying anywhere in Sydney as long as we can access public transport from there.
